With an origin concept of discover seat possibility form knitting or netting as main structure, Igloo stool is born as an experimental piece that emphasize on texture and structure integrity.
Designed by Singaporean studio Page Tan, the Igloo Stool is made of transparent PVC hose. The structure is based on traditional geometric plaiting which is held in place by common nylon cable ties. This makes it a soft and elastic tool, yet strong enough to be used in your rooms.
The design of the Igloo Stool requires no internal structure as it leverages on the use of traditional geometric plaiting which is held in place by common nylon cable ties. The result is a strong, yet elastic and soft stool with both visual and structural appeal.
The Igloo Stool has won the FDA Merit Award - Designers Category at this year's IFFS/AFS Singapore Furniture Fair.
